Driftwood
pieces are the branches and stumps that are found underwater and
give a really attractive and natural look to your aquascape. These are highly
demanded amongst the people love to have pet fish and reptile at their places.
When you would go out in the market o purchase one for your water ecosystem,
you would get to see a variety of these available.
But the driftwood for sale is basically of four different types and they
are:
1. Standard
driftwood
2. Savanna
or African root
3. African
driftwood
4. Malaysian
driftwood
The first one is found in North
America and these are the pieces from the tree that falls into the water and
remain there for sometime resulting in a piece that do not have bark on them.
As these become very light weighted, you need to fix them up with an anchor when
placing in the aquarium. The savanna type is the piece that emerges as a result
of the same process but varies in appearance; its one side is rough and has
protuberance and the other side is flat and smooth. The third is the African
driftwood that looks similar to the standard driftwood, the only difference
being the self sinking property. One does not have to place an anchor to fix it
and it can settle at the bottom on its own.
The Malaysian variety is same
as the standard and African but these have long branches attached to it. This
can be used for putting together some plants like Java ferns. You can get all
these varieties available at the online store of Bonsai Driftwood and that too
at affordable rates. Visit the site and book one for yourself through best
